The Group of Canine Disaster Rescue Specialists – Arcón Method was created in 2010 by professional firefighters from different provinces of Spain, with 20 years of experience in this field. We chose the Arcón Method to train and deploy our canine rescue teams because of the major scientific and operational advance its creation represented. Today it is the most effective option available, among both technological tools and canine detection, as shown by real operations at disaster sites (locating people alive where survivors had previously been ruled out) and by its prestigious scientific and institutional endorsements. The Arcón Method is the official method in countries and regions with a high seismic risk.
