The Group of Canine Disaster Rescue Specialists \u2013 Arc\u00f3n Method<\/span><\/strong>, was founded in September 2010, after some of its members took part in the missions following the earthquakes in Haiti and Chile and saw that the fastest and most effective way to respond to this kind of disaster was through an NGO dedicated to searching for people trapped alive under any kind of debris.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From 14 July to 2 August, for 21 uninterrupted days and given the exceptional circumstances of the war in Ukraine, a training programme will be held so that Ukrainian canine search and detection instructors and rescue dogs can be trained in the Arc\u00f3n Method. The aim is to make the search for survivors in the rubble of collapsed buildings more effective and, exceptionally, to enable these instructors to replicate the Arc\u00f3n Method training with other canine rescue teams in Ukraine, so that more victims of the war can be rescued.<\/div>
